Performance
The Colorado has three engine options, with the base engine being a turbocharged 2.7-liter 4-cylinder with 237 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque and comes standard in the WT and LT models. The Z71 and Trail Boss models come standard with a turbocharged 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 310 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque, and it’s also available on the WT and LT models. Standard for the ZR2 model is the turbocharged 2.7-liter 4-cylinder that produces 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque.
Rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission is standard on the Colorado and four-wheel drive is available. When properly equipped the Colorado can tow up to 7,700 pounds.
This pickup truck is only available with a 5 foot, 2-inch bed and has features like power-assist tailgate, EZ-Lift and Lower tailgate, remote locking tailgate, and spray-on bed liner.
Interior
The Colorado can seat up to five people in it’s two rows. It comes standard with features like cloth upholstery, four-way manually adjustable passenger seat, and six-way manually adjustable driver’s seat. The interior is paired with standard features like an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless device connectivity, satellite radio, two USB ports, and an 11.3-inch touchscreen. A larger 11-inch digital instrument cluster is available.
The standard safety and driver assistance features include rear-seat alert, forward collision warning, teen driver, forward automatic emergency braking, rearview camera, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and more
