The hot entrees or Entradas Calientes as you will see them listed on the menu offer an array of tacos, such as Beef Tenderloin Tacos, Shrimp Tacos, or Pork Shank Tacos. If you want an entrée that takes your dining experience to the next level, then you should order the Oysters Rockefeller.

There are plenty of cold appetizers to enjoy at Madeira as well. If you love ceviche or have always wanted try it, the restaurant offers both a mushroom ceviche and a halibut ceviche. There is also delicious carpaccio and tartar options as well.

Soups & Salads

For soup and salad options, Madeira provides a lovely selection. There is the tasty Ensalada con Queso Brie that offers a fresh bed of spinach and lettuce with a honey vinaigrette and crispy Brie. If you are wanting soup, there is both a creamy cauliflower soup and a roasted butternut squash soup.

Seafood Options

If your mom is a seafood lover, then she is in for a treat at Madeira. This Brownsville restaurant provides incredible fish and seafood entrees. Plates like the Spicy Grilled Ahi Tuna with puffed rice will make your mouth water, or you might want to order the seared sea scallops. There are also a couple of salmon, red snapper, and sea bass options that you will not want to pass on at dinner. It may be difficult to select an entrée, so you may need to come back another time.

Madeira provides scrumptious options with Spanish influence. Try Madeira’s Dobladitas de Pato en Mole Poblano, which is succulent duck in a mole sauce. There are other fabulous poultry and meat options at the restaurant worth trying. Order the Mar y Tierra con Adobo de Chile Guajillo. This dish has beef tenderloin and shrimp with an Adobo sauce.
